Abstract:

The Niger Basin is one of the most vulnerable hydrological systems where hydro-climatic changes is highly uncertain and changes in rainfall/runoff at the regional or local levels are inconsistent with projections; making management of hydrological projects unsustainable.

This policy brief originated from a student thesis from the Department of Capacity Building of WASCAL,and the Climate Change and Water Resources, GRP at University Abomey- Calavi, Benin.
